Vogue was a star her first day in the ring. She took Reserve Winners Bitch and Best Puppy in Group at the first of four Pacific Kennel Club Shows.
She then went to Canada's largest outdoor dog show and not only got her first points, but finished her Championship, taking Best of Winners the first day and Winners Bitch on the third. Special Thanks to Wes Larnie for handling Vogue to her last four points on the final day, in the form of Best of Winners.
Her first weekend in the ring with Margaret, Vogue took a Best Puppy in Group, a Select Bitch, and Best of Opposite at a Booster in a very competitive Dane ring, as well as Best in All Breed Sweepstakes. Thank you to all the judges and spectators who have given us lovely compliments on this girl. We are very proud of Vogue, and know that the future is bright for her. We look forward to watching her grow up with her brothers and sisters.
Vogue's first trip to the States saw her recieve Winners Bitch to get her started with her first 2 American points.
She attained her Canadian Grand Championship just before reaching 14 months of age, taking two Best of Breeds over notable specials, with her mom, Margaret, at the end of the leash.
Vogue went back to the site of her show debut in BC, where she took the ring by storm at two Specialties hosted by the Western Great Dane Club of BC. At the first, she took Best of Opposite Sex to her brother, under breeder judge Donna Clark. Vogue then took Best of Breed at the second specialty, under judge Alan Ewles, following in her brother's and father's paw prints. Thank you to Jennifer Driessen for presenting Vogue to these beautiful wins. On the last day of the Pacific Kennel Club All Breed Show, Vogue was presented to Best of Breed and her first Group Placement - a Group 4, by Katie Chappelle, capping off a very successful weekend.
At the Great Dane Club of Canada Western Division Regional Specialty, Vogue took Best of Opposite to her brother again, under judge Francine Schwartz. She then took Best of Breed and a Group 3 the next day under judge Walter Pinsker. Thank you to Wes Larnie for presenting her to these wins.
Vogue finished her American Championship with Best of Breed from the classes, after attaining all her majors with Katie Chappelle on the end of her leash.
